Every Day
We take a backup of your system every evening. These nightly backup snapshots are kept for 7 days.
Every Week
A snapshot is also taken at the start of each week; this is stored in a separate facility away from the rest of our infrastructure for 26 weeks.
Every Month
Monthly backups, taken at the start of every month, are also kept for 6 months.
All backups stored in the UK
All of our backup facilities (as well as the rest of our infrastructure) are located within the UK.
These files are held in Amazon S3, which has “eleven nines [99.999999999%] durability”--basically meaning that by storing and constantly maintaining multiple, encrypted copies of your uploads, you can rest easy knowing that your files are in safe hands.
