You can set up your HelpDesk to only show you the Product and/or Projects from the pop-up selectors that are linked to the Company and/or Contract you have already added on that Ticket.

To configure these options go to Settings > Configuration > Helpdesk Settings:

Default Product search based on linked Company

When linking a Product to a Helpdesk ticket, it is possible to show a default list of Products that are linked to the Company selected on a Helpdesk ticket by enabling the following option:

When you go to link a Product to a Helpdesk ticket, the search will initially display Products which are linked to the Company on the ticket, either via the Supplier field on the Product or via the Product-to-Company or Company-to-Product sub tab. 

* If you enter search criteria, this will override the default filter and search all Products in the system.

Default Project search based on linked Contract

When linking a Project to a Helpdesk ticket, it is possible to show a default list of Projects that are linked to the Contract on a Helpdesk ticket by enabling the following option.

* Please note the system already applies a default search on Projects to show those linked to the Company linked to the ticket.

When you go to link a Project to a Helpdesk ticket, the search will initially be limited to only Projects which are linked to the Contract on the ticket, either via the Related to field on the Contract, or via the Contract-to-Project sub tab.

* If you enter search criteria, this will override the default filter and search all Projects in the system.

* Please note that this screen also filters by Company as a default, so if you have a Company linked, the default search is further restricted based on the linked Company.
